Welcome to O’Brien Crafted Works. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1) Products & Custom Orders

• Many of our items are made-to-order and/or customized (laser engraving, personalization, custom designs, 3D-printed photo/lithophane items).
• Colors, materials, and appearance may vary slightly due to handmade production, wood grain, printing settings, lighting, and screen differences.
• Custom items are produced based on the details you submit and/or approve.
  
   

2) Order Approval & Proofs

• If we provide a mockup/proof for approval, production begins after approval.
• It is your responsibility to review proofs carefully for spelling, dates, design placement, and other details.
• Changes requested after approval may cause delays and may incur additional fees.
  
   

3) Turnaround Time

• Standard processing time is typically 3–5 business days (not including shipping time).
• Custom or large orders may take longer. We will communicate expected timelines when possible.
• Delays may occur due to supply issues, equipment maintenance, or high order volume.
  
   

4) Pricing & Payment

• Prices are listed in USD and may change at any time.
• Payment is required before production begins unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• If you request changes after purchase (design edits, size changes, upgraded materials), additional charges may apply.
  
   

5) Shipping & Delivery

• Shipping costs and delivery estimates are shown at checkout (if applicable).
• Once a package is accepted by the carrier, delivery timing is controlled by the carrier.
• O’Brien Crafted Works is not responsible for shipping delays caused by the carrier, weather, or other events outside our control.
• If an address is entered incorrectly, reshipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility.
  
   

6) Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Because many items are personalized or made-to-order:

• Custom/personalized items are final sale and not eligible for returns or refunds, because our items are custom-made. Each piece is created following in-depth conversations regarding design, personalization, and pricing prior to production to ensure everything meets your expectations before we begin crafting.

• If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within [24–48 hours] of delivery with photos of:
  
  
  1. the item,
  2. the packaging, and
  3. the shipping label.

            We will work with you on a replacement or resolution.

 

7) Cancellations & Changes

• Orders may be canceled only before production begins.
• Once production starts (especially for custom items), cancellations may not be possible.
• If a cancellation is approved, payment processing fees may be non-refundable (if applicable).
• To cancel, please email support@obriencraftedworks.com with the subject line “Cancel Order Request,” including your name, contact information and order details.

8) Intellectual Property (Designs & Files)

• All website content, product photos, designs, logos, and text are owned by O’Brien Crafted Works unless otherwise stated.
• You may not copy, reproduce, or resell our designs or images without written permission.
• If you submit your own image/logo/design, you confirm you have permission to use it and that it does not violate third-party rights.
  
   

9) Customer-Provided Content (Photos for Lithophanes / Printed Portraits)

• You are responsible for the quality of the image you provide. Low-resolution, blurry, dark, or heavily filtered images may affect results.
• By submitting images, you grant us permission to use them solely to produce your order.
• We do not claim ownership of your images.
  
   

10) Safety & Use Disclaimer

• Some products may contain small parts and are not intended for small children unless clearly stated.
• Our items are decorative/functional gifts. Follow any care instructions provided.
• We are not responsible for damage due to misuse, improper care, or normal wear.
  
   

11) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• O’Brien Crafted Works is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to your purchase or website use.
• Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the product.
  
   

12) Privacy

Your use of our website is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

13) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
